I curated an intimate one-day multi-sensory, somatic-based workshop with a focus on heightened states of consciousness.

During my studies at university I began to go down the rabbit hole of consciousness studies, flow states, embodied cognition, phenomenology, and quantum physics. I began to understand what this feeling from dancing was that I loved so much. How it could be experienced in a way that transcended bodily boundaries within a group context, and what conditions can help guide these experiences and allow one to enter into a state of extended consciousness, and even beyond that a state of group flow.

This was a one-day workshop of several ideas and concepts I had been developing. It was an amalgamation of various mediums, tasks, and practices that allow one to connect to their body, awaken their sense, enter into a state of flow, and even beyond just this: a moment of synchronicity, group flow, and total connectedness between the self, other, environment and world. This workshop is a means to experience these higher states through our bodies, the other, nature, and the experience of somatic-based movement.

"Of what is the body made? It is made of emptiness and rhythm. At the ultimate heart of the body, at the heart of the world, there is no solidity... there is only the dance.” -George Leonard
